BABEL

Heb: babel ().

translated into Babel or Babylon, an ancient city of Babylonia located on the banks of the Euphrates.

Two things :

The Biblical Tower of Babel, where mankind were confused with many different languages (Genesis 11:1-9). Some archaeological findings.
mentioned in the Qur'an in connection with Solomon.
- two angels at, al-Baqarah 2:102
  The Qur'an mentioned the two angels at Babel, Harut and Marut, and from them came divisions between man and wife. Solomon is also mentioned in the same verse.
